WELCOME TO THE WORMERY,
OUR COMPOSTING EDUCATION CENTER.

It’s home to thousands of worms that consume organic waste and generate castings - a wonderful soil amendment and the world’s best plant fertilizer. It’s where we experiment with various composting methods, host workshops, and generally nerd out on the wonderous world of decomposers. Come on over and join in the fun!

The Wormery is conveniently located next to a craft brewery, so our worms are treated to a continual feedstock of partially composted spent grain. They take in this byproduct of the brewing process and produce nutrient-rich castings in return. It’s a true win-win!

If you’re curious about composting and looking for a way to get started with composting – either vermicomposting or hot composting – you’re in the right place.
